- How do CS2 capsules open?
- Like cases, but without a key: you buy the capsule and open it for one random item from its pool. Sticker and autograph capsules drop stickers, pin capsules drop pins, patch packs drop patches, graffiti boxes drop sealed graffiti and music kit boxes drop music kits.
- What are the drop odds for capsules?
- Valve publishes capsule rates too. A capsule with four tiers drops 80.13% High Grade, 16.03% Remarkable, 3.21% Exotic and 0.64% Extraordinary, and one that skips a tier has those redistributed over the tiers it holds. Pin capsules are the exception: they step 1:2 instead, at 53.33% / 26.67% / 13.33% / 6.67%. Which item you get inside a tier is split evenly, since Valve doesn't publish that.
- Do capsule items have floats or StatTrak?
- No. Stickers, autographs, pins, patches, graffiti and music kits have no wear, pattern or exterior, so every pull is the plain item at its current market price.
